Tafseer of The Criterion · Al-Furqaan · 25:6
Say, [O Muhammad], "It has been revealed by He who knows [every] secret within the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He is ever Forgiving and Merciful."

And His word: قُلْ أَنزَلَهُ الَّذِي يَعْلَمُ السِّرَّ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ (Say: it was sent down by Him Who knows the hidden in the heavens and on the earth) — the Exalted and Praised says: Say, O Muḥammad, to these deniers of the signs of Allah from among the polytheists (mushrikūn) of your people: The matter is not as you say, that this Qurʾān is the fables of the ancients and that Muḥammad ﷺ invented it and that other people helped him with it. No, it is the Truth; the Lord sent it down — He Who knows the hidden of all who are in the heavens and on the earth, from Whom nothing is hidden, and Who tallies all of that against His creation and requites them for what their hearts have intended and what they concealed in their innermost selves. إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا (truly, He is forgiving, merciful) — he means: He does not cease to grant forgiveness to His creation and to have mercy upon them, and to favor them through His forgiveness. He means: and because this is indeed His custom toward His creation, He grants you respite for some time, O you who have said what you have said out of falsehood and who have done what you have done out of unbelief (kufr).
And in agreement with what we have said, the people of the exegetes spoke.
The narration of who said that:
Al-Qāsim related to us, saying: al-Ḥusayn related to us, saying: Ḥajjāj related to me, on the authority of Ibn Jurayj — قُلْ أَنزَلَهُ الَّذِي يَعْلَمُ السِّرَّ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ (Say: it was sent down by Him Who knows the hidden in the heavens and on the earth): he said: "what the inhabitants of the earth and the inhabitants of the heaven keep secret."
