And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them.

And His word: وَإِنَّا عَلَى أَنْ نُرِيَكَ مَا نَعِدُهُمْ لَقَادِرُونَ (And indeed We are able to show you what We promise them) — Allah — exalted is His mention — says: And We are indeed able, O Muḥammad, to show you what We promise these polytheists (mushrikīn) of the hastening of the punishment upon them. So let their denial of what We promise them not grieve you. We only defer it so that the Book may reach its appointed term.
