He, exalted be His remembrance, says: وَإِنَّ لَكُمْ — O people — فِي الأَنْعَامِ لَعِبْرَةً (and indeed in the cattle there is surely a lesson for you), through which you take instruction, and by which you recognize the favors of Allah toward you and His power over whatever He wills, and that nothing He intends escapes Him and nothing He desires is impossible for Him. نُسْقِيكُمْ مِمَّا فِي بُطُونِهَا (We give you to drink of what is in their bellies) — of the milk that comes forth between the dung and the blood. وَلَكُمْ — together with all that — فِيهَا — that is to say: in the cattle — مَنَافِعُ كَثِيرَةٌ (many benefits) — and these are such as the camels, upon which loads are carried and which one rides on their backs and from whose milk one drinks. وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ (and of them you eat) — that is to say: of their flesh you eat.
