[Ṭabarī says:] Those who believe in Allah and His Messenger and perform righteous deeds — from among you, O people, and from others — لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ — that is to say: for them there is with Allah the covering of the sins that they previously committed in this world, in the hereafter — وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ — that is to say: a noble provision in the paradise (janna).
As al-Qāsim related to us, saying: al-Ḥusayn related to us, saying: Ḥajjāj related to me — he said: Ibn Jurayj said, concerning the words: فَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ — he said: the paradise.
