Al-Qāsim related to us, saying: al-Ḥusayn related to us, saying: Ḥajjāj related to me, on the authority of Ibn Jurayj, concerning His word مَا مَنَعَكَ إِذْ رَأَيْتَهُمْ ضَلُّوا أَلا تَتَّبِعَنِي — he said: Mūsā had commanded Hārūn to set things right and not to follow the path of those who spread corruption; and that is what His word comprises أَلا تَتَّبِعَنِي أَفَعَصَيْتَ أَمْرِي — "Why did you not follow me? Have you disobeyed my command?" — intending thereby this [command].
