The exposition of the exegesis of the word of Allah the Exalted: وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَى (verse 9)
Allah, exalted be His remembrance, says to His Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ — consoling him for the hardships he endured from the polytheists (mushrikīn) among his people, instructing him concerning the clarity of his cause and their cause, that he shall be raised above them and that the deceit of the unbeliever (kāfir) shall be weakened, urging him to diligence in his cause and to patience in his worship, and so that he — amid that which befalls him from his enemies, both the mushrikīn among his people and others, and amid that which the exertion in obedience to Him costs him — may keep before his eyes what befell his brother Mūsā, peace be upon him, from his enemy, then from his people and from the Children of Israel, and what trial and hardships he underwent therein as a small child, then as a growing youth, then as a grown man:
وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ — O Muḥammad — حَدِيثُ مُوسَى — the son of ʿImrān?
