Tafseer of The Cave · Al-Kahf · 18:69

قَالَ سَتَجِدُنِىٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ صَابِرًۭا وَلَآ أَعْصِى لَكَ أَمْرًۭا

[Moses] said, "You will find me, if Allah wills, patient, and I will not disobey you in [any] order."

    The statement concerning the explanation of His word: (سَتَجِدُنِي إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ صَابِرًا) (You will find me, if Allah wills, patient) regarding that which I see from you, even though it be contrary to what is correct according to my judgment. (وَلا أَعْصِي لَكَ أَمْرًا) (and I will not disobey you in any matter) — he says: and I will abide by that which you command me, even though it does not accord with my own desire.

    القول في تأويل قوله : ( سَتَجِدُنِي إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ صَابِرًا ) على ما أرى منك وإن كان خلافا لما هو عندي صواب ( وَلا أَعْصِي لَكَ أَمْرًا ) يقول: وأنتهي إلى ما تأمرني، وإن لم يكن موافقا هواي.
