The explanation of the word of Allah, the Exalted: قَالَ لَهُ صَاحِبُهُ وَهُوَ يُحَاوِرُهُ أَكَفَرْتَ بِالَّذِي خَلَقَكَ مِنْ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ سَوَّاكَ رَجُلا (His companion said to him, while he was conversing with him: "Are you a disbeliever in Him who created you from dust, then from a drop of sperm, and then formed you into a man?" [18:37])
Allah, the Exalted, says: the companion of the owner of the two gardens — the one who had less wealth and fewer children than he — said to him, وَهُوَ يُحَاوِرُهُ (while he was conversing with him) — that is to say: while he was addressing and speaking to him: أَكَفَرْتَ بِالَّذِي خَلَقَكَ مِنْ تُرَابٍ (Are you a disbeliever in Him who created you from dust) — that is to say: who created your father Ādam from dust — ثُمَّ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ (then from a drop of sperm) — that is to say: then He brought you into being from the drop of sperm of the man and the woman — ثُمَّ سَوَّاكَ رَجُلا (then He formed you into a man) — that is to say: then He made you into an upright human being, a man of the male sex and not female. He says: are you a disbeliever in Him who did this with you, that He would re-create you into a new creation after you have become dust?
