And I do not think the Hour will occur. And even if I should be brought back to my Lord, I will surely find better than this as a return."

The explanation of the statement: وَمَا أَظُنُّ السَّاعَةَ قَائِمَةً (And I do not think that the Hour will come to pass)
As Yūnus related to me, saying: Ibn Wahb informed us, saying: Ibn Zayd said: doubt — then he said: وَلَئِنْ (And if) that were to be, then رُدِدْتُ إِلَى رَبِّي لأَجِدَنَّ خَيْرًا مِنْهَا مُنْقَلَبًا (I am returned to my Lord, I will surely find something better than this as a place of return) — He has given me this only because of the better that is with Him.
Bishr related to us, saying: Yazīd related to us, saying: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda, concerning the statement: وَدَخَلَ جَنَّتَهُ وَهُوَ ظَالِمٌ لِنَفْسِهِ قَالَ مَا أَظُنُّ أَنْ تَبِيدَ هَذِهِ أَبَدًا * وَمَا أَظُنُّ السَّاعَةَ قَائِمَةً — he was ungrateful for the favors of his Lord, denied the meeting with Him, and made demands upon Allah.
