That is their recompense - Hell - for what they denied and [because] they took My signs and My messengers in ridicule.

The exposition of the meaning of the words of Allah, the Exalted: ذَلِكَ جَزَاؤُهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ بِمَا كَفَرُوا وَاتَّخَذُوا آيَاتِي وَرُسُلِي هُزُوًا (That is their recompense: Hell (jahannam), because of their disbelief and their mocking of My signs and My messengers) (106)
Allah, the Exalted, says: that is their recompense — Hell (jahannam) — because of their disbelief in Allah, their mocking of the signs of His Book, their disdain for the proofs of His messengers, and their mocking of His messengers.
