Tafseer of The Cave · Al-Kahf · 18:105
Those are the ones who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord and in [their] meeting Him, so their deeds have become worthless; and We will not assign to them on the Day of Resurrection any importance.

The exposition of the meaning of the words of Allah, the Exalted: أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَلِقَائِهِ فَحَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فَلا نُقِيمُ لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَزْنًا (They are those who have disbelieved in the signs of their Lord and the meeting with Him; their works are thereby rendered void, and We will not assign them any weight on the Day of Resurrection) (105)
Allah, the Exalted, says: these whom We have described are the most losing in their works — those who disbelieved in the proofs (ḥujaj) and evidences (adilla) of their Lord and denied the meeting with Him. فَحَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ — that is to say: their works have gone to waste, so that there is no reward for them that benefits its owners in the Hereafter — rather, for them out of it there is only prolonged punishment and disgrace. فَلا نُقِيمُ لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَزْنًا — Allah, the Exalted, says: We will not assign them any weight. What is meant by this is: their scales will not weigh heavy for them. For the scales are made heavy only by good works; and these people have nothing of good works by which their scales would weigh heavy.
And in accordance with what we have said concerning this, the people of interpretation (ahl al-taʾwīl) have spoken.
* Mention of those who said that:
Muḥammad ibn Bashshār related to us, saying: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān related to us, saying: Sufyān related to us, on the authority of al-Aʿmash, on the authority of Shamir, on the authority of Abū Yaḥyā, on the authority of Kaʿb, who said: On the Day of Resurrection a tremendously great, tall man will be brought, and by Allah he will not weigh the weight of the wing of a gnat. He recites: فَلا نُقِيمُ لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَزْنًا (We will not assign them any weight on the Day of Resurrection).
Abū Kurayb related to us, saying: Ibn al-Ṣalt related to us, saying: Ibn Abī al-Zinād related to us, on the authority of Ṣāliḥ, the mawlā of al-Tawʾama, on the authority of Abū Hurayra, who said: The Messenger ﷺ said: "On the Day of Resurrection a great eater and drinker, a tall man, will be brought, and he will be weighed, but he will not weigh the weight of the wing of a gnat." Then he recited: فَلا نُقِيمُ لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَزْنًا (We will not assign them any weight on the Day of Resurrection).
