Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all

"With the exception of the household of Lūṭ" — that is to say: with the exception of those who follow Lūṭ in his religion; them we shall not destroy, but we shall save them from the punishment with which we have been commanded to strike the people of Lūṭ.
