وَإِن كَانَ قَمِيصُهُۥ قُدَّ مِن دُبُرٍۢ فَكَذَبَتْ وَهُوَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

But if his shirt is torn from the back, then she has lied, and he is of the truthful."

    That is because the man wishes to approach the woman from the front. وَإِنْ كَانَ قَمِيصُهُ قُدَّ مِنْ دُبُرٍ فَكَذَبَتْ وَهُوَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ (And if his shirt was torn from the back, then she has lied and he is among the truthful.) — That is because a man does not approach a woman from behind. And he said: in law it cannot be otherwise.

    وذلك أن الرجل إنما يريد المرأة مقبلا (وَإِنْ كَانَ قَمِيصُهُ قُدَّ مِنْ دُبُرٍ فَكَذَبَتْ وَهُوَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ) وذلك أن الرجل لا يأتي المرأة من دُبر . وقال: إنه لا ينبغي أن يكون في الحقّ إلا ذاك .
