Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,

The explanation of the word of Allah, the Exalted, whose praise is exalted and whose names are sanctified: قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ (1)
The Exalted says to His Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ: Say, O Muḥammad, I seek refuge بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ * مَلِكِ النَّاسِ — He is the King of all creatures: their humans and their jinn and all others. This serves to inform those who venerate human beings — with the veneration with which the believers venerate their Lord — that He is the King of those whom they venerate, and that this falls under His dominion and His authority, His power extends over it, and that He is more deserving of all veneration and has more right to worship than anyone whom they venerate and to whom they render worship, apart from Him, among the people.
