Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them
Important: The Arabic source text is always authoritative. This translation is a study aid and has not been verified by scholars — do not use it as a basis for religious proof or for deriving rulings (ahkam). When in doubt, always consult the Arabic text and a qualified scholar.
And His word: إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِمْ مُؤْصَدَةٌ — Allah, exalted be His remembrance, says: the Ḥuṭama, whose attributes have just been described, is closed over them — that is to say: over these mockers and slanderers — مُؤْصَدَةٌ : that is to say: hermetically sealed shut. The word is written both with hamza and without hamza; both readings have been transmitted and are recited.
What we have said concerning this is also the opinion of the scholars of exegesis.

Then the Lord of Majesty says to Jibrīl: Bring My servant out of the Fire. Jibrīl comes to the Fire, but finds it hermetically sealed shut. He returns and says: O my Lord, إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِمْ مُؤْصَدَةٌ . Then He says: O Jibrīl, open it, and bring My servant out of the Fire. He opens it, and the man is brought out like a shadow, and he is laid down at the bank of Paradise, until Allah causes hair, flesh, and blood to grow upon him."
