But as for one whose scales are light,

His word: وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُمُّهُ هَاوِيَةٌ — "And as for him whose scales are light, his refuge is the Hāwiya" — He says: as for him whose scale of good deeds turns out light, his refuge and dwelling place is the Hāwiya, in which he falls upon his head into the Fire (jahannam).
In a manner similar to what we have said concerning this, the people of interpretation (ahl al-taʾwīl) have spoken.
