And never be of those who deny the signs of Allah and [thus] be among the losers.

The explanation of the words of Allah, the Exalted: وَلا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ (95)
Abū Jaʿfar says: Allah, the Exalted, addresses His Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ and says: Do not be, O Muḥammad, among those who have denied the proofs of Allah and His signs, for otherwise you would be among those who have forfeited their portion and who have exchanged the mercy of Allah and His good pleasure for His wrath and His punishment. (37)
