وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًۭا

    And His statement ( وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًا , "and I devise a plot") means: and I contrive a cunning scheme. And His plotting — exalted be His praise — against them consists in this: that He grants them respite while they persist in their disobedience and their disbelief toward Him.

    وقوله: ( وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًا ) يقول: وأمكر مكرًا؛ ومكره جلّ ثناؤه بهم: إملاؤه إياهم على معصيتهم وكفرهم به.
