Tafseer of The Emissaries · Al-Mursalaat · 77:5
And those [angels] who deliver a message

And His statement: ( fa-l-mulqiyāti dhikran ) ("by those who deliver a reminder") means: by those who deliver the revelation of Allah to His messengers — and they are the angels.
And in accordance with what we have said about this, the people of interpretation (ahl al-taʾwīl) have spoken.
* Mention of who said that:
Muḥammad ibn Saʿd related to me, saying: my father related to me, saying: my uncle related to me, saying: my father related to me, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās, concerning ( fa-l-mulqiyāti dhikran ): he means: the angels.
Bishr related to us, saying: Yazīd related to us, saying: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda, concerning ( fa-l-mulqiyāti dhikran ): he said: they are the angels who deliver the reminder to the messengers and proclaim it.
Ibn ʿAbd al-Aʿlā related to us, saying: Ibn Thawr related to us, on the authority of Maʿmar, on the authority of Qatāda, concerning ( fa-l-mulqiyāti dhikran ): he said: the angels who deliver the Qurʾān.
Ibn Ḥumayd related to us, saying: Mihrān related to us, on the authority of Sufyān, concerning ( fa-l-mulqiyāti dhikran ): he said: the angels.
