Is it you who produced its tree, or are We the producer?

His statement: أَأَنْتُمْ أَنْشَأْتُمْ شَجَرَتَهَا (Did you bring its tree into being) — He says: did you produce its tree and originate it? أَمْ نَحْنُ الْمُنْشِئُونَ (or are We the Producers) — He says: or did We originate it and bring it into being?
