كَأَمْثَٰلِ ٱللُّؤْلُؤِ ٱلْمَكْنُونِ

The likenesses of pearls well-protected,

    And His word: كَأَمْثَالِ اللُّؤْلُؤِ الْمَكْنُونِ ("like well-guarded pearls") means: in the purity of their whiteness and their beauty, they are like the well-guarded pearl that is kept protected within a covering.
