Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water."

And His saying ("then pour over his head of the punishment of boiling water") — the Exalted, whose mention is exalted, says: then pour over the head of this sinner of the punishment of boiling water (al-ḥamīm), that is: of the heated water whose description We have given. That is the water concerning which Allah said: with which is melted what is in their bellies, and the skins ; and We have already set forth the description of it there.
