And for their houses - doors and couches [of silver] upon which to recline

The statement concerning the explanation of His word, the Exalted: وَلِبُيُوتِهِمْ أَبْوَابًا وَسُرُرًا عَلَيْهَا يَتَّكِئُونَ ("And for their houses doors, and couches upon which they recline") (43:34).
The Exalted, whose praise is exalted, says: and We made for their houses doors of silver, and couches of silver.
As ʿAlī related to me, he said: Abū Ṣāliḥ related to us, he said: Muʿāwiya related to me, on the authority of ʿAlī, on the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās: "and couches," he said: couches of silver.
Yūnus related to me, he said: Ibn Wahb informed us, he said: Ibn Zayd said concerning His statement: وَلِبُيُوتِهِمْ أَبْوَابًا وَسُرُرًا عَلَيْهَا يَتَّكِئُونَ ("And for their houses doors, and couches upon which they recline"), he said: the doors are of silver, and the couches are of silver, upon which they recline; he says: upon the couches they recline.
