To Pharaoh, Haman and Qarun; but they said, "[He is] a magician and a liar."

إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَامَانَ وَقَارُونَ فَقَالُوا سَاحِرٌ كَذَّابٌ (to Pharaoh, Hāmān and Qārūn, and they said: a sorcerer, a great liar) — He says: those to whom Mūsā was sent said about Mūsā: he is a sorcerer who bewitches the staff, so that the one who looks at it supposes it to be a living serpent that crawls along.
كَذَّابٌ (a great liar) — He says: he lies about Allah, and he claims that He has sent him as a messenger to the people.
