لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

They will have whatever they desire with their Lord. That is the reward of the doers of good -

    His statement: ( They shall have whatever they wish with their Lord ) — the Exalted, whose mention is lofty, says: they shall have, with their Lord on the Day of Resurrection, that which their souls desire and that which delights their eyes. ( That is the reward of those who do good ) — the Exalted, whose mention is lofty, says: this which they have with their Lord is the reward of whoever acted well in the worldly life, and therein obeyed Allah, and complied with His command, and abstained from that which He has forbidden therein.

    وقوله: ( لَهُمْ مَا يَشَاءُونَ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ ) يقول تعالى ذكره: لهم عند ربهم يوم القيامة, ما تشتهيه أنفسهم, وتلذّه أعينهم ( ذَلِكَ جَزَاءُ الْمُحْسِنِينَ ) يقول تعالى ذكره: هذا الذي لهم عند ربهم, جزاء من أحسن في الدنيا فأطاع الله فيها, وائتمر لأمره, وانتهى عما نهاه فيها عنه.
