The exposition of the interpretation of His statement, exalted is He: "إِنْ هُوَ إِلا ذِكْرٌ لِلْعَالَمِينَ" (It is nothing but a reminder for the inhabitants of the worlds) (87)
The Exalted says in His address to His Prophet Muḥammad, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: Say to these polytheists of your people: "إِنْ هُوَ" — that is to say: this Qurʾān is nothing — "إِلا ذِكْرٌ" — He says: other than a reminder from Allah — "لِلْعَالَمِينَ" — for the inhabitants of the worlds among the jinn and mankind. Their Lord has reminded them with the intention of saving those among them who believe in it from perdition.
