Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?"

The statement concerning the exegesis of His words, the Exalted: فَمَا ظَنُّكُمْ بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ("What then do you think of the Lord of the worlds?") (87)
The Exalted, whose remembrance is exalted, says, while He reports about what Ibrāhīm said to his father and his people: فَمَا ظَنُّكُمْ بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ("What then do you think of the Lord of the worlds?")? He says: what thought do you hold, O people, about what He will do with you when you meet Him while you have worshipped someone other than Him?
As Bishr related to us, saying: Yazīd related to us, saying: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda, concerning فَمَا ظَنُّكُمْ بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ("What then do you think of the Lord of the worlds?"); he says: when you meet Him while you have worshipped someone other than Him.
