Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers.

Allah then said: إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاهَا فِتْنَةً لِلظَّالِمِينَ ("Verily, We have made it a trial for the wrongdoers") — that is to say: for these polytheists (mushrikīn) who said about it what they said.
