Indeed, he was of Our believing servants.

And His statement: إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ("Indeed, he was among Our believing servants"). He says: Indeed, Ilyās was a servant from among Our servants who believed, affirmed Our Oneness (tawḥīd), obeyed Us, and ascribed no partner to Us (shirk).
