Not equal are the blind and the seeing,

The explanation of the saying of the Exalted: وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الأَعْمَى وَالْبَصِيرُ (19) (And the blind and the seeing are not equal.)
The Exalted, whose remembrance is sublime, says: وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الأعْمَى (And the blind is not equal), namely the one blind to the religion of Allah, with which He sent His prophet Muḥammad — may Allah bless him and grant him peace — وَالْبَصِيرُ (and the seeing): the one who has discerned therein his right guidance, and who therefore followed Muḥammad, held him to be truthful, and accepted from Allah that with which He sent him.
