He will [then] amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment.

And His words (He will set right your deeds for you): the Exalted, whose praise is exalted, says to the believers: Fear Allah and speak the right word, then He will make you fit for good deeds and so set right your works for you. (And He will forgive you your sins): He says: and He will pardon you your sins, and not punish you for them. (And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger) — by acting in accordance with what He has commanded him and refraining from what He has forbidden, and speaking what is right — (he has indeed attained a great triumph): He says: he has indeed attained the very greatest honor from Allah.
