The explanation of His — exalted is He — word: فَمَنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ (94) ("Whoever then, after this, still invents a lie against Allah — these are the wrongdoers") (3:94)
Abū Jaʿfar said: He — exalted is His praise — means thereby: whoever then lies against Allah, whether from among us or from among you, after the Torah has come to you, and you have recited it aloud, and you have found nothing in it of what you claimed — namely that Allah had forbidden the veins and the flesh of camels and their milk — = "these are the wrongdoers." He means: whoever among them does that = "these," that is to say: these are the ones who do that = "they are the wrongdoers," that is to say: they are the unbelievers, who utter falsehood concerning Allah. As:
7421 — Al-Muthannā related to us, saying: ʿAmr ibn ʿAwn related to us, saying: Hushaym related to us, on the authority of Zakariyyā, on the authority of al-Shaʿbī: "these are the wrongdoers," he said: this was revealed concerning the Jews.
