The explanation of the statement of the Exalted: وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِيَ الَّذِينَ كُنْتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ ("And on the Day that He will call to them and say: Where are My associates whom you used to claim [to be such]?") (28:74).
The Exalted, whose praise is exalted, means: And on the Day that your Lord, O Muḥammad ﷺ, will call to these polytheists (mushrikīn) and say to them: أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِيَ الَّذِينَ كُنْتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ ("Where are My associates whom you used to claim") — O you people — in the world that they were My associates.
