Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel.

As for the word كَذَلِكَ (Thus it was): he says: "Thus did We take them out of all of that, just as I have described to you in this verse and the verse before it." وَأَوْرَثْنَاهَا (And We caused [them] to inherit it): he says: "And We caused the Children of Israel to inherit those gardens out of which We had taken them — as well as the springs, the treasures, and the honorable dwelling-place — through their destruction."
