The Exalted and Praised says to His Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ: وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ (and We did not send you), O Muḥammad, to those to whom We sent you إِلَّا مُبَشِّرًا (except as a bringer of good news) — with the abundant reward for whoever believes in you and affirms you, and believes in what you have brought him from Me and acts upon it — وَنَذِيرًا (and a warner) — for whoever denies you and denies what you have brought them from Me, does not affirm it, and does not act upon it.
