And His statement: يُقَلِّبُ اللَّهُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ — Allah alternates the night and the day with one another and governs them; when the one departs, the other comes, and when the other departs, the first returns. إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِّأُوْلِي الْأَبْصَارِ — verily, in Allah's causing the clouds to arise, in His sending down rain from them, in His sending down hail from the sky, and in His alternating the night and the day, there is a lesson for whoever draws instruction from it and an admonition for whoever lets himself be admonished by it — for whoever possesses understanding and intellect. For all of this testifies and points to the fact that there is a Governor, a Disposer, and an Alternator who has nothing resembling Him.
