Allah, exalted be His praise, says to His Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ: And if these polytheists dispute with you, O Muḥammad, concerning your rites, then say: Allah knows best what you do and what we do.

As: al-Qāsim related to us, saying: al-Ḥusayn related to us, saying: Ḥajjāj related to me, on the authority of Ibn Jurayj, on the authority of Mujāhid: وَإِنْ جَادَلُوكَ — he said: these are the words of the people of shirk (associating partners): "What Allah has slaughtered with His right hand..." فَقُلِ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ — for us are our deeds and for you are your deeds.
