The Glorified One says to His Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ: "Say, O Muḥammad: what is revealed to me by my Lord is only that there is for you no god who may be worshipped except one God — worship befits Him alone and it is not due to any other than Him.

He says: 'Will you then — O polytheists who worship idols and statues — be willing to obey Him in this by submitting to this fact, and ridding yourselves of the worship of those gods of yours that you worship besides Him?'"
