وَٱصْطَنَعْتُكَ لِنَفْسِى

And I produced you for Myself.

    The explanation of the words of Allah the Exalted: وَاصْطَنَعْتُكَ لِنَفْسِي (20:41)

    (And I have chosen you for Myself.)

    Allah the Exalted says: وَاصْطَنَعْتُكَ لِنَفْسِي — I have bestowed these favors upon you, O Mūsā, and granted you these blessings as a selection of Mine for you and as a choice for My mission, so that you may convey My message and carry out My commands and prohibitions.

    القول في تأويل قوله تعالى : وَاصْطَنَعْتُكَ لِنَفْسِي (41) يقول تعالى ذكره: ( وَاصْطَنَعْتُكَ لِنَفْسِي ) أنعمت عليك يا موسى هذه النعم، ومننت عليك هذه المنن، اجتباء مني لك، واختيارا لرسالتي والبلاغ عني، والقيام بأمري ونهيي .
