قَالَ إِنَّكَ لَن تَسْتَطِيعَ مَعِىَ صَبْرًۭا

He said, "Indeed, with me you will never be able to have patience.

    The explanation of the meaning of the words of Allah the Exalted: قَالَ إِنَّكَ لَنْ تَسْتَطِيعَ مَعِيَ صَبْرًا (verse 67)

    Allah the Exalted says: The learned one said: "You will not be able to bear patiently in accompanying me." And that was because he acts upon hidden knowledge that Allah had taught him, while you possess only knowledge of the outward aspect of matters — you will therefore not be able to muster patience with what you will see of his actions, as we have mentioned in the narration of Ibn ʿAbbās previously: that he was a man who acted upon the unseen, and had been taught therein.

    القول في تأويل قوله تعالى( قَالَ إِنَّكَ لَنْ تَسْتَطِيعَ مَعِيَ صَبْرًا ) يقول تعالى ذكره: قال العالم: إنك لن تطيق الصبر معي، وذلك أني أعمل بباطن علم علَّمنيه الله، ولا علم لك إلا بظاهر من الأمور، فلا تصبر على ما ترى من الأفعال، كما ذكرنا من الخبر عن ابن عباس قَبلُ من أنه كان رجلا يعمل على الغيب قد علم ذلك.
