Allah the Exalted says to Iblīs: "Truly, My servants who have obeyed Me — who followed My command and disobeyed you, O Iblīs — over them you have no authority whatsoever."
Concerning His words وَكَفَى بِرَبِّكَ وَكِيلا (And your Lord suffices as a guardian — 17:65): Allah the Exalted says to His Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ: "Your Lord, O Muḥammad, suffices for you as a keeper and as a manager of your affair. So submit to His command, and convey His messages to these polytheists, and fear no one — for He has taken upon Himself the care of your protection and your support."
As Bishr related to us, he said: Yazīd related to us, he said: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda, concerning his words إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانٌ وَكَفَى بِرَبِّكَ وَكِيلا : he said: "His servants are the believers." And Allah said in another verse: إِنَّمَا سُلْطَانُهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَتَوَلَّوْنَهُ وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ بِهِ مُشْرِكُونَ (His authority is only over those who take him as a guardian and over those who associate partners with Allah — 16:100).
