ٱلَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

Who make [equal] with Allah another deity. But they are going to know.

    His statement الَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ is a threat and a warning from Allah, the Exalted, to the mockers concerning whom He informed His Prophet ﷺ that He has shielded him from them with His statement: "Indeed, We have shielded you, O Muḥammad, from the mockers and scoffers, those who set up alongside Allah an associate in worship — they will soon come to know what they will encounter of Allah's punishment when they come to Him on the Day of Judgment, and what will befall them of tribulation."

    وقوله ( الَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُون ) وعيد من الله تعالى ذكره، وتهديد للمستهزئين الذين أخبر نبيه صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قد كفاه أمرهم بقوله تعالى ذكره: إنا كفيناك يا محمد الساخرين منك، الجاعلين مع الله شريكا في عبادته، فسوف يعلمون ما يلقون من عذاب الله عند مصيرهم إليه في القيامة، وما يَحُلّ بهم من البلاء.
