And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" -

The Exalted says to His Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ: Say, O Muḥammad, to the polytheists (mushrikīn): I am the warner whose warning has made clear to you that a calamity and punishment from Allah will descend upon you when you persist in your error — just as We sent down upon the Miqtasimīn. He says: in accordance with what Allah the Exalted sent down of calamity and punishment upon those who divided up the Qurʾān and cut it into pieces (ʿiḍīn makalūhu).
