Allah the Exalted says: Lūṭ said to his people: "Marry the women and go to them, and do not do what Allah has forbidden you — namely consorting with men — if you truly carry out what I command you and abide by my command."

As Bishr related to us, he said: Yazīd related to us, he said: Saʿīd related to us, from Qatāda, concerning قَالَ هَؤُلاءِ بَنَاتِي إِنْ كُنْتُمْ فَاعِلِينَ : the prophet of Allah Lūṭ commanded them to marry the women, and he wished to protect his guests by offering his daughters.
